About me
Daniela has extensive experience in the public sector, having collaborated for nearly 10 years with institutions such as the Ministry of the Environment, the Undersecretariat of Aquaculture, and the Galapagos Governing Council.
She is an independent consultant specializing in ocean literacy, coastal and marine management, community governance, and marine conservation. Daniela contributed as a producer and staff member for the documentary "Despertar Azul" and is an active member of the collective "Pacífico Libre."
Her passion for diving and the ocean drives her environmental work, which includes data collection in coastal and marine protected areas, organizing seabed cleanup events, and promoting ocean education in Ecuador and across the region.
Daniela also has experience in productive and environmental projects, fund management, and close collaboration with coastal communities, artisanal fishers, as well as corporate, public, and non-governmental sectors.
